Q. How are you able to offer such an extensive roster of speakers under $3,500 when other speakers bureaus are not?

A. First of all, most speakers on the circuit can be booked by any bureau of your choice. Other speakers bureaus could feature the exact same roster we do, but for financial reasons, time constraints and other factors, many bureaus choose to focus on speakers of $5,000 or more - and they are very successful doing so. We at The Speakers Group have created this service with the intent of filling a void in the marketplace - both speakers and meeting planners need a resource like BudgetFriendlySpeakers.com and we are glad to help.

Q. Fees aside, what is the difference between speakers on BudgetFriendlySpeakers.com and those on other speakers bureau sites?

A. There are two profiles of speakers on our roster: (1) speakers who are well-known and have standard fees of more than $3.500, but who find it appealing to accept a discounted fee in exchange for the opportunity to work close to home, and (2) speakers who have proven to be dynamic and dependable, but who have not yet risen to the highter fee ranges. You will find some of the speakers in the former group on other speakers bureau sites, but often those sites do not publicize discounted local fees. Many wpeakers in the latter group will one day be mainstays on other speakers bureau sites, and this is your chance to book an undiscovered gem at an affordable price. Q. Should I be concerned with the quality of the speakers I will find through BudgetFriendlySpeakers.com?

A. No, for several reasons. Many of the speakers on our roster are members of the National Speakers Association, having met their requirements to be considered a Professional Speaker. More importantly, we request testimonials from all speakers interested in being on our roster to ensure that they have a proven track record of success. We feature a few of those on each speaker's page on our site for your reference - there is no better indicator of what a speaker can bring to your event than the feedback another meeting planner who has worked with that speaker. We know that your reputation is on the line when you select speakers for your events, just as ours is on the line when we recommend speakers to you. We will work by your side from beginning to end to ensure the perfect speaker is chosen for your program.

Q. Is there a fee for your services?

A. No. Our full range of services are available to you at no charge! Like all speakers bureaus, we are paid a commission by our speakers when events are booked. Your only expense is the actual speaker fee, and usually airfare and related travel expenses. Give us a call today for an initial consultation about your event and we'll let you know how we can assist you in making your next event the best ever. If you choose to continue working with us, we will guide you through the speaker evaluation process, take care of all paperwork in securing your speaker, provide an event questionnaire to ensure you and your speaker are fully prepared for your event, and follow up through the completion of your event to make sure everything happens as planned -- all at no charge to you.

Q. I am a speaker and I would like to be listed on the BudgetFriendlySpeakers.com roster. How do I go about doing that?

A. Thank you for your interest. We are always seeking great speakers to add to our roster so we can better meet our clients' event planning needs.
